Once upon a prosthetic … (Part 3)

Refer to parts 1 and 2 with these links:     Part 1        Part 2

Let’s pick up back in fourth grade.  Even though some sadness and anger had crept up it didn’t ruin my year by any means.  I met a girl that became my closest friend.  We were best buddies for several years and that made the changing attitudes of others easier to handle.

My personality began to transform over the next few years.  I can’t speak to whether this was already part of me or if it was some form of evolutionary adaptation but slowly I developed a confident and sassy air.  Sadness and anger got pushed aside in favor of quick witted comebacks and smiley faced retorts.  I was now more than happy to take on the world if that was what the world really wanted.  Bring it on world!  Next stop… middle school.

Cheers for now!

Conclusion Quote:  Actually, I just woke up one day and decided I didn’t want to feel like that anymore, or ever, so I changed.            Just like that!
